Vacation Bible School (VBS), July 9 - Aug 20

This summer, we are going to do Maker Fun Factory where kids can become curious, hands-on inventors to discover they are lovingly, crafted by God. For kids in Pre-K through 4th grade, there will be fun lessons and activities every Sunday after the children’s prayer (approx. 10 am.) See Jennifer Burpee to register your child/ren.

Annual Church Picnic, June 25

Let’s barbeque! Our annual church picnic will be held at Cornerstone in the parking lot on Sunday, June 25, after the worship service. Everyone is welcome to attend so invite family and friends! There will be fun and games for all ages. Cornerstone will be providing the meats. Use the sign-up sheet to let us know what sides or dessert you’ll bring.

Potluck at the Greens, June 10

Calling all of Cornerstone. Come and join us at the Greens on Saturday, June 10 at 11:00 AM as we gather to share some Cornerstone hospitality and fellowship. Bring a dish to share as we will be eating lunch together. There will be games for all ages and a couple of outdoor activities (should the weather permit). The Green's home is located at 1211 Cardinal Drive in Algonquin, IL. Carpooling is available. Please use our sign-up sheet or reply to Eric Burpee to indicate if you're coming, what you're bringing, and if you need a ride.

Jon Rich and Calvin Robinson

A new shepherd for Cornerstone: We continue to be amazed by the abiding love of the Lord and his provision for his sheep. Led by the Holy Spirit, supported by the prayerful unity of the Cornerstone elders, guided and supervised by the Midwest District of the Alliance, we completed a year long process.

BYOJ Korean Cooking Lunch

Sarah Coleman and Jaci Yeo will be teaching the women and youth girls how to make kimchi and kimbap rolls. We will also be enjoying other Korean dishes such as Bulgogi, Kalbi, and other side dishes as part of the luncheon. Bring a small mason glass jar to bring home the kimchi you make there. Contact Shirley Li with any questions.

Date: Saturday, 5/27
Time: 11 am to 2 pm
Location: Sarah Coleman's house
